Vintage Design
Delicate Art Nouveau verico made of walnut, which has been colored. Here the floral lightness of Art Nouveau is combined with a warm shade of green. Both panels were painted in a creamy white, as were the beautiful flower carvings. The rest is finished with chalk paint and a wax finish. All raw wooden surfaces (back wall, drawer and inside) are treated with beeswax. Major damage was restored, missing carvings and moldings were reworked, but smaller cosmetic defects were deliberately left behind. A piece of furniture that has been restored to death and which no longer shows its lifespan at all loses its authentic charm.
