Louis XVI commode veneer thick Cuban mahogany with inlaid decorations on three sides with its gray marble top veined original black 35 mm thick molded groove.
It opens with two small drawers on top with a false central drawer space which is accessible through a hidden trapdoor leaving the right drawer.
Below, it opens with two large drawers simulating 3 small drawers as above, all locking handles and decorated with twisted rings.
Amounts beveled, separations and drawer fronts are adorned with inlaid frames filleted lemon and ebony, like the sides of the cabinet.
It rests on four feet wrapped with 2 front feet are inlaid panneauté and back of the cabinet is fir.
Period: XVIII. Invoice and certificate of authenticity.
Perfect condition after restoration, stripping and varnish finish on hard bottom in our workshop.
