Antique Walnut Colonial Style Blanket Chest

A large antique American Colonial style blanket chest, unbranded. Solid walnut with brass hardware, bevel edge to the lid top, hinge hardware holding the lid, decoratively exposed dovetail joints, lower drawer area, brass side handles, and ogee bracket feet. Features an ample interior for storage with a small wood lid covered side compartment, and two lower exterior drawers of dovetail construction. Made in the USA, in the late 19th Century.

Measures: 53w 24.75d 21.75h

Good antique condition with signs of wear consistent with age and normal previous use. Blemishes to top, scuffs, and crack to one foot. Lock and lock hardware have been removed. Structurally sound and sturdy.
