Vintage Design
Marcel Breuer was a German-Hungarian architect and Deisigner. It was one of the central figures in the field of modern architecture and design in the 20th century. His imposing oeuvre include the UNSECO main Quatier in Paris or the Whitney Museum of American Art in New York.
Until his immigration to the USA, due to its Jewish origin, he was active at the Weimar Bauhaus. Here he created icons such as club armchair B3 (Wassily) or the Cesca Chair. In the United States, he and Walter Gropius found the architecture aculty Harvard University. Breuer died in New York in 1981.
Chairs in good condition. The painting is partially rubbed off on the back. Minimal damaged spots in the network. Marked on bottom.
