Vintage Design
A very stylish nest of three solid teak side tables by O’Donnell Design, Ireland c.1970, of rectangular and curved form, raised on lower stretchers with a lovely grain. The set is beautifully designed from every angle with good proportions, sharp angles and soft curves. The largest table has an ink stamp on the underside O’Donnell Design Ltd.
In the 1970s O’Donnell Design Ltd made a range of teak and oak furniture, which was exported to the USA, Canada and the UK. During this time the company perfected the Danish system of furniture making.
Overall these striking nest of tables are solid and in very good vintage condition. The measurement of the largest table are H: 48cm W: 60cm D: 37cm
