Vintage Design
A Lounge Chair dating back to the 50s and 60s, found by us in Italy, but whose style recalls the modernist productions in bamboo, typical of the Californian aesthetic, designed by designer Paul Frankl. The steam-bent bamboo canes joined together in bands of three on the armrests recreate the decorative motif of the iconic Pretzel armchair model. The seat and backrest are made with thin but very resistant canes, tied together with rattan and support removable cushions recently made by a professional. The cushions are covered in white boucle and have two different layers of foam, one of which is memory foam which makes the seat very comfortable. The chromatic contrast between the white upholstery and the skeleton of this vintage armchair whose wood color oscillates between walnut and mahogany is truly elegant. The armchair is in good condition, stable and solid, with minimal signs of use and age. Reach out for any additional questions.
