Vintage Design
Etagere bookcase sideboard with a door at the top that serves as a lectern, flap-openable with interior compartment made in the Art Nouveau period from walnut with solid wood parts carved with floral motifs and furred parts. The cabinet was used as a display cabinet and was part of a small bar furniture in the 1910s/1920s. The top was slanted to provide a shelf for customers to browse the daily newspaper. The structure of the cabinet is sturdy but has some missing parts as per the attached photos, having never been restored it needs restoration work. But overall, the cabinet can ‘also be used as it currently stands.
