Vintage Design
A solid oak daybed Model GE 19 designed by Hans Wegner for GETAMA, Denmark, 1956. This very modern design constructed in oak wood and brass shows a beautiful contrast in materials. Solid oak wood is used for the legs and frame. The brass cushion support bars on both sides are definitely the highlight and add a beautiful touch to the otherwise minimalist design. The daybed comes with a completely new cushion and oval shaped pillow, upholstered in a high quality structured natural linen with buttons. The underside reveals the original green spring coil cover and a solid wood frame with brass spring coils which provide support. It can be used in a variety of ways in virtually any modern environment. In excellent condition.
