Vintage Design
Danish mid century two bay teak wall unit with two cabinets and eight shelves, designed in the 1960s, in the style of Poul Cadovius or Preben Sorensen. Both Danish designers worked parallelly through the 50s, 60s and 70s. This vintage wall unit is an entirely modular shelving system. All elements are 80 cm wide and can be arranged as needed, placed higher, lower, interchanged.
This graceful composition can be both a beautiful addition to the office space and a bedroom or living room.
The unit consists of:
– eight shelves 20 cm deep
– two cabinets with sliding doors H: 35 / W: 80 / D: 35 cm
– three wooden wall rails 200 cm long
– brass hardware
The unit has been fully renovated. We sand down all the parts, match the color, add missing parts, then finish with stain and Danish oil. There might be absolutely minor signs of use but it will rather resemble a new piece in quality. We also checked its mechanics thoroughly. The doors work properly, and all parts fit together.
We try to bring furniture back to its best look, still considering the age.
