Mid-Century Scandinavian Style Secretaire, 1960s

Piece has ample storage, featuring a very nice, upper storage space with a pull-down door, which opens and closes properly. Inside, is a very cool, well-designed, practical, upper shelf divided into 3 compartments: 1 on the left side, that has a door, 1 in the center section with 2, angled, glass dividers to create 3 spaces (or slots), and 1 on the right, with a removable, glass shelf at its center, to create 2 spaces (see photos.)

Both the glass dividers and shelf, are in perfect condition and very clean. The wood on the inside of the drop-down door, has a beautiful, flame-like effect and is both smooth and clean (see photos.) The secretary comes with its original key to open the drop-down door, as well as 2 additional keys (see photos.)

There are also two drawers, and a lower storage cabinet with two doors, that have their original, square, black, plastic pull knobs (see photos.) The lower storage also has 1 shelf dividing the compartment into 2 spaces (see photo.)

The piece is in overall, good, original and vintage condition, with some old marks signs of age and previous use commensurate with time, as well as nice patina of time, on the overall structure, top, doors, side panels, inside of one drawer, pull knobs and legs (see photos.) Small lack of veneer on both sides of the top and upper edge of the left side panel (see photos). Please note: An old repair at the bottom of the left side panel (see photo.) Piece is solid and stable.
