Fresh from a well traveled Westchester New York estate, we have a pleasure to offer you this phenomenal RARE PAIR of Antique 19th C CHINESE Carved BAMBOO CHAIRS. These are the real deal, they are as light as the feather, despite the seemingly massive built. Frames are straight, different thickness bamboo in different places, flat board seats, pattern made of carved pieces on the back. Chairs are in very good structural condition, rock solid, finish showing moderate age / use wear as is to be expected, missing one stick on the carving in last photo which reflects on the price (please view photos). Size is great for house or apartment at 17.5″ wide, 40” tall, 15.5″ deep, and 19″ seat height. Superb antique pair, worthy of any fine collection, they will look spectacular in modern or traditional setting!
