Side table in petrified wood, predominantly white heart, black crown H:40 D:24-30. Petrified wood is a wood fossil (same family as magnolia) dating back 20 million years. Silica replaced the wood fiber molecule by molecule, giving silicified wood. Fossilization is slow, which makes it possible to distinguish the patterns of the trees. Petrified wood is a noble material that lies between granite and precious stones. Height: 40cm; Diameter: about 24-30cm; Weight: approximately 45kg.
